We would highly recommend Hotel Verona. The room was clean and overall bigger than expected after reading how small rooms are in Europe. The location was perfect with many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The Coliseum is a 5-10 minute walk as is the Trevi train station. There is also a taxi area nearby (3 minute walk easily). Besides locatoin, room size and convenience, we would stay at Hotel Verona again because of the staff. The airline lost our suitcase and the staff went out of their way to help us track it. The staff at Hotel Verona are friendly, polite and very helpful to guests. We have no negatives about our stay.
We had a very comfortable stay in June 2011. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were exceptionally clean, and the breakfast buffet was varied and filling. The location was also very good-close but not too close to the main train/metro station. I would highly recommend the hotel to friends and family.
The room was very clean and nice, nothing luxurious but what we needed. The ar conditioning was very welcomed! The staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast was good, simmilar to what you will get in most hotels in Italy. Location was very good. Walking distance from Termini station where you can get the bus to most sights in Rome and very close to the underground station. You can easily walk to the Colosseum and if you have a bit more stamina to Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. I would recommend this hotel.
The staff was very helpful and the room was very confortable.
Rooms were lean and decent. Close to attractions of Rome. Front desk was friendly.
Front desk was not helpful with the taxi service. Other than that, the breakfast was not that good.
Good location for a short stay. Very close to main touristic attractions and is in walking distance to Termini railway station (on arriving from Fiumicino airport walk in the direction to the metro station fist).
We had the triple room on the first floor. It was quite nosy because the reception is in some steps down and the breakfast room is on the same floor.
The staff of the hotel is friendly and the breakfast is nice. The beds were good.
There was no place to eat in the very small breakfast room. There was a lot of noise from the road. The room was rather small
The location was perfect! Walking distance to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps and Pantheon. Was clean. Had a problem with the air conditioning, but they corrected the problem. "When we checked in they did not have out reservation, but found us a room which had the non working air conditioner. The had a service for a very reasonable fee that took you to the airport.
The stairs could be a problem for some people. The elevator was very small and once you got off the elevator you have about 14 steps to your room. Rooms small, but the beds were very comfortable.
I found the hotel very clean staff were polite and friendly. the room was small but it had all we wanted except tea making facilities and the shower hose did nt reach the wall bracket so no shower really
Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful.
Breakfast area was quite congested and hot drinks machine was broken so my tea tasted like coffee. The food was tasty and plentfiul.
Excellent location. 7 minutes walking from both Termini & Colloseum. All staff was very kind and helpful. (Special regards to Maurizio) Breakfast was very good.I Would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
Good location, the braekfast was not bad, nice patio.
Air-conditioner didn't work, we hade to open the window and "enjoy" a noise of the street. Old furniture, rooms need repair. Fungus on bathroom walls.
I found the hotel clean and perfectly located within walking distance of the Termini Station. Staff is very welcoming and will bend over backwards to satisfy their customers.
The showers tend to be a little small.
Very convenient to Termini Station, shops and Rome sites. Very good local restaurants and on a quiet srteet.
Breakfast area too cramped for collecting food. Too much work for one staff to provide food at breakfast, ran out of foods and coffee machine out of order, so one staff inadequate.
I like location, comfort and other.
